Basic Hone
Die flash removal and edge preparation uniformity on symmetric inserts are fundamental outputs of the IXM-50's design. The above photographs show before honing and after honing images of the corner of a CNMG-432. Notice the ability of the IXM-50 to remove the die flash and produce a uniform hone around the entire corner of the tool. |
